Maureen Egan • Orthodontic Assistant
Maureen assists Doc with treatment, takes x-rays/records, educates patients about oral health and overall health, is a key communication link between patients and Doc, prepares teeth for the placement of brackets, and makes orthodontic wires. In the lab she prepares orthodontic study models, makes orthodontic retainers, designs appliances for tooth and bone movement, and coordinates office needs with outside labs.
Maureen has been in the dental field since attending the Dental Assistant Program at Boston University of Graduate Dentistry and has worked with Doc since 1987.
She grew up in Swampscott and graduated from Swampscott High School. Maureen has been married for more than 25 years.
